I always thought he wanted to be the Steve Jobs of the gaming world and never found his signature product to sell his success.

It absolutely wasn't an opportunity but I respect it none the less.

Also the bladesingers extra attack feature at level 6 is kind of designed to synergise with cantrips like booming blade and green flame blade.

I feel this. I watch about 8 Foodtubers on and off and babish now feels very generic because basically everyone is a take on him.

Two things in his favour are his decision to use being the largest to platform others was really good and although that diluted his channel by making fans of the person stop watching every video, and also the fact that if I'm actually looking for a specific cooking guide and I see a babish video, I know I can follow it reliably and have a tasty end product.

I'd say 2016 but I feel like the reality is every year I remember most clearly is the most year ever.

Fun fact, sperm whales can generate a sonar click at 230dB. Decibels are a logarithmic scale so increasing by only a few dB is basically double the volume.

This is what I don't understand about people who eat food. Unlimited international access to traditional recipes and exotic vegetables, meat and other ingredients. New combinations of flavors and techniques available everywhere.

I'm not actually against this decision at all, I kind of liked the idea that he wasn't ready to live up to his potential. A hero in a trilogy needs their journey from farm boy to knight, and I was really ready for focus on the villain actually growing in ability. It would be hard not to like an antagonist with well written drive that we needed to see on screen, and we nearly got this too.

I didn't particularly like the force awakens in cinema but that's mostly because it didn't do anything new, except have a villain who both started as a villain and had a lot of potential to grow without redemption, which would have actually been kinda new for starwars where basically every character arc with growth is a good character corrupted or a bad one redeemed.

I tried to watch the ocean cut of Naruto, which basically edits each arc down, cutting out unnecessary flashbacks and recaps, along with intros and intros, making it into basically a series of films.

It's still 40 films worth of content and 3+ hours per film sometimes (I think, it's been a while), and the pacing is still absolutely fucked which is a symptom of basically every episodic anime when binged.

I should say I'm actively opposed to anyone gaining control of the fediverse but when I started using Lemmy, Masterdon and Peertube, (until about an hour ago) I was unaware that it would be this easy for a big company to just engulf it if they wished to.

If I knew that the fediverse could be controlled and then drained like every other internet community, I would have approached it differently.

I'm don't totally understand the fediverse and how it works. How does meta making one of their options federated harm the rest of the fediverse?

It can just stay where it is for 7 years and then get you when you travel back, or at least to that part of the world.

One of my saddest days was waiting to cross a road and a car stopped Infront of me with it's passenger window open and a big Labrador hopped up and was face to face with me.

I excitedly asked the owner if I could pet the dog, as it was literally delivered to my face and she said no like it was a weird request. Thats stuck with me for half a decade already.

YouTube became weirdly positive and fake a while ago, I actually think the mega cesspit of YouTube comments hasn't been reality for a few years now.

I can't tell if that's because the Gen Z online communication style is to celebrate everything, which is nice, or because there's an algorithm in place somewhere to make the comments more marketable, which is lame.
