  • I mean yeah, probably they would know, but it wouldn't hurt to talk to em. Either way, specific negative feedback from potential customers gives them at least a small incentive to change.. not that it'd probably be significant enough to make a difference in this case. But hypothetically, if enough people did get upset about it and it hurt the business' bottom line, I'd want them to know the reason.

If nothing else, at least they'll know what the brick is for. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • My trans homies and I would probably throw a brick through that window... just saying.

Okay, in reality we'd talk to the owner first and explain why this is shitty behavior. The brick is plan B.

  • Yeah, they definitely knew what they were doing. It's shitty. And it baffles me that there's no regulation for this (in the US, that I'm aware of). Or hell, at least better awareness, considering I didn't learn until I was 18.

  • the issue with God is that its presence equates power with morality

I can't agree with this enough. My sister, a Christian, even agrees. Things are "good" and "bad" because god says they are, and for no other reason. And god is the highest good simply because he said that he is. The reason he gets to make those rules is that he's the most powerful.

  • I didn't realize this when I moved into my first apartment, a small studio with a gas stove, and the first month or so I couldn't figure out why I felt sick so often.

If you have a proper vent above the stove, use it. If you don't, or if like me you just have a fan above the stove that pushes the air back into the room, open your windows and use a fan whenever you're cooking. It's made a huge difference for me.

  • Wonderful. /s

But thanks. And it only makes it more ironic what he's complaining about, because personally, getting my hormones under control made me way more emotionally stable.

My condition was absolutely debilitating -- I ended up doing 7th grade online at home, and it was miserable. If this idiot wants to take away medication that can keep a kid out of pain, I'd like to be first in line to personally rip his head off.

I'll add, the alternatives for 15 y/o me would have been stronger pain medication, or surgery. (...I mean, I switched to testosterone hrt after turning 18, and I guess you could consider that an option since it does stop periods. But somehow I doubt more trans people is what he wants lmao.)
