I guess if you consider the 1300s medieval times. Dante’s inferno was written around that time, which is actually after the renaissance had already started. But it’s still technically the Middle Ages I think. Time is weird, but it’s the very late Middle Ages

The last lines two blue letters tell you what it’s about, it’s about AI being inlcluded in everything

To clarify the army has 3 types active, national guard and reserve

The reserve doesn’t have combat mos and are primarily support. Active duty soldiers live on bases when not deployed, and train throughout the week like a regular job. The national guard is still part of the army, they train for the same jobs at the same place and wear the exact same uniform. All three departments wear a name tape that says U.S. army.

They just so happen to be in their respective states service, and can be acted on by the governor as well. National guard also does disaster relief when state side. All three departments can be deployed to a conflict internationally.

I’m sick of being tasked with 5 different types of programmers jobs

In the past month alone I’ve worked on:

• A web scrapping program to compile realtors information in a state I don’t live in, their properties sold and the values of those properties in the mls database. 1000s of web pages
• a react native mobile apps backend transition from mongdb and express to a google cloud platform and firestorm database
• a stencil.js website for a company that sells soaps and essential oils, as well as manage the backend changes because of arbitrary tariff price increases
• a Python data pipeline to sync various name brand companies inventories with a shoddy sku management system
• tax and shipping costs module integrations

Bro what is happening out here, I work for one company

I never really felt this way, maybe it’s the adhd and constant switching of hobbies and things but I feel like the time I filled was with such different things that it really feels like 18 was a cloudy lifetime ago from 30
