Recommended FLAC converter?
  • I used to use musicbee for this. Good app for organising your music on your desktop and you can configure it to convert audio format when syncing to your phone. It's been a while since I used it, but it did the job nicely

  • MRW I realise I can use AI to create bean images the world has never seen before
  • Automatic1111. Was a bit tricky to figure out get up and running, but the install guide is decent. The only tip I can give is that you may need to manually copy the local ip address from the command window into your browser - that took a while to realise. I don't have any tips on giving good prompts really - I'm just screwing around with it and seeing what works tbh

  • Stripped Screw Hole in Ceiling Advice
  • Edit: never mind, I misunderstood the question - thought you were talking about a stripped screw head, not that the hole threads were stripped

~~ I can't see the stripped screws very well in that photo. But I've had some previous success with stripped screws by using a pliers to grip the outside of the head to turn it.

Sometimes an alternative bit can help (eg: using a hex bit for a stripped torx screw).

Putting a rubber band or other elastic material in between contacting surfaces (ie: in the stripped hole or around the head) can also help with these approaches sometimes.

You might also be able to deform/reshape the head (eg: dremel or grind flat sides onto the circumference of the head) to get a better trip with the pliers. Can take while, but might be the best option in some cases. ~~

  • Tips for using Lemmy?
  • If you're using an app to view lemmy, it's worth updating regularly (at the moment anyway). Mine hadn't automatically updated for a while, but it turns out Jerboa (on android) has made a lot of improvements to the app in the past few weeks
