It's either the wiring in your house or the light fixtures or both.. If I remember right older light fixtures, like before the last 15 years, don't have the right type of power regulation and it kills LEDs quick. Source: Not an expert just have the same problem in my place.

She started showing up when I was around 16 (late 30s now.) I only see her like twice a year but every time I do the dreams are so intense I spend the next day in that sort of distorted state where I can't quite shake how real it was. Every time I see her I recognize her instantly in my dreams and we have such an overwhelming connection, stronger then I've ever experienced in real life. She feels right, like a mythical soulmate.
I've felt since the first time I saw her that she's a real person. She's beautiful but like real person beautiful not Hollywood, and she's aged along with me. I can't shake the feeling the that I'm supposed to find her, like our souls are connected from some past life. I of course have no idea how so in a couple of days she'll fade to the back of my mind again, showing up only in stray thoughts till she pops up in my dreams again months later.
Idk I'm just a little worked up today and wanted to share with people who might not think I'm crazy.
The game i'm playing in now doesn't use money at all. We're trapped on another plane where every one is just trying to survive the extremely harsh conditions and resource scarcity so everything is based on trade with values fluctuating wildly based on what different settlements need. It's made accumulating wealth basically impossible because it doesn't matter how much that set of plate armor is worth because it's never worth carrying 4 extra bulk hopping you can find someone who will not only trade for it but also has something you want.
Been thinking about bringing in an outside friend to role play or at least control the the boss for the up coming battle. Being able to stage a fight where the boss honestly has no idea of what the players will do or what their skills are but has absolutely no hesitation about trying to kill them seems like it would be pretty cool. And know matter how much you try as a DM you can't not know things and even in a grim dark game like we're playing it does really suck to kill your players so there's always the desire to pull your punches even if you don't do it. Having a boss that not only goes straight for the throat but is also played by someone who thinks differently than the rest of the encounters my players are used to seems like it would make it truly unique fight.

For some reason I assumed it was the 21st not the 20ith. At least I didn't have any spell work planed. Guess I'll just extra offering and call it good.
I frequently bring up the fact that being a druid is what lead me to being a leftist. Just found this quote and I think it sums things up much better then I could. > We therefore recognize that our individuality is only an illusion, or a temporary state while we are in physical bodies. So certain political philosophies, such as libertarianism, are anathema to us. Selfishness is the greatest evil there is. We really are our brothers keeper as he is ours.
I know other forms of paganism have similar philosophies. I think is cool and important to realize that some religions can actually lead directly to communism. So next time your with your grove/coven/group start talking to people about how their beliefs have a direct political counterpart.
It's hard to tell how big the tree is from this picture but it's over 5ft in diameter and around 200ft tall. Best guess it's between 350 to 400 years old. Acres of meadow to one side and miles of forest to the other. A small stream is right below it.
There is such a sense of power and peace radiating from it that even my non spiritual friends have described it as magical.
I go there to meditate, commune with the local spirits and do all my rituals. The tree spirit is very quite and took about a year to accept me but not it feels like a very old friend that you don't even to talk to to communicate.
