Yeah, I understand. I'm only saying that I don't think I have autism in a roundabout way.

Yes. I can't even drink coffee anymore. Though I would still go for a tiny bit of coke zero for the taste.

This one feels easier to read. Guess it doesn't work for everybody, huh.

I picked up bullet journaling, writing down by hand in meetings, and the occasional journaling in my bullet journal.

It helps slow down that speeding brain of mine. Often speeding to nowhere, I find.

Congratulations 🎉 Go get a cookie (or whatever nice treat you really like) you deserve a reward for this accomplishment.

Oh, I would break down my tickets into tiny baby steps, to the point it's so utterly ridiculous from the outside looking in that my colleagues and manager would comment on my "work journal" and are concerned about the "way overcommitted wasted effort."

It of course, helps a whole lot despite the amount of additional added hours I would put into that. Each little checkbox is a much needed dopamine trickle to keep me on task, and the whole thing seems far less daunting once I've been able to sit down and break things down into atomic subtasks—checkpoints—that I could stop at and still be able to come back later on without losing track of where I'm at mid-ticket. And not ending up debugging myself round and round in circles as I forget what I already did before.

I didn't use to do that though, nor did most of my systems even exist in any tangible form really. They were the products of my brainstorming and research on how to get around my ADHD and not things that I would've naturally settled on on my own. So, if I'm understanding what (this aspect of) autism is correctly. I'm only ADHD as well, at least on this (and many other so far) aspect.

Vyvanse is the really the best (for me). It is absolutely amazing, literal magic in a little pink pill in fact. My very first dose was a life changing moment for me. If I could stay on Vyvanse 30mg, I would've. It had never really lost its magic all this time after all. Problem is, my heart rate is a bit high on it, and my psychiatrist would rather I try out Ritalin LA, Medikinet, and Concerta first before she would attempt any heart rate lowering medications.

I went from barely clocking 2 hours (sometimes less than 1) to regularly clocking over 6 hours of focused work a day.

I'm an adult, late-diagnosed. If it helps any, my ADHD symptoms seem to come back in full force when I go over my optimal dose. Too much could sometimes be worse than too little (but usually still better than without).

A wider range of emotions... Seems like what I've just experienced on a new Concerta trial of mine (RSDed myself into deleting my reddit account. Hi! This is my first comment here). I was far more emotionally stable on my previous Vyvanse and Ritalin IR doses.
