Titan Quest II | Announcement Trailer
  • Great news! Looking forward to when they post more about it.

  • Weekly “What are you playing” Thread || Week of August 6th
  • Caves of Qud. Kitfox picked it up to publish recently and I figured it was time to play it a bunch again. Truly an incredible game.

  • Overwatch 2 will have no more story missions until 2024
  • Wake me up when overwatch 2 has news that isn't sad and depressing.

  • Thoughts on BattleBit Remastered?
  • Amazing game. Haven' had this much fun in an fps in years. Their approach to moderation and getting those who are just blatantly terrible out of the game ASAP is wonderful. And it's a tiny indie game made by three people. And it's cheap! There's no downsides here the game is just amazing.

  • Reddit Won’t Be the Same. Neither Will the Internet
  • Honestly, the internet needed to be shaken up. Both twitter and reddit blowing up at the same time has given me a perfect excuse to check out the fediverse and other services. It's the perfect storm.

  • Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth, announced for PC and consoles
  • I am interested. Annapurna has published some of the most amazing games in the last 5 years and I'd love to see how they handle this themselves. Anything they put their name on is known for its narrative quality and I expect this will be much the same level of that.

  • What's the most kills you've ever seen on one of your dudes?
  • I've seen colossi with thousands of unique kills before but rarely more than a few hundred on my guys, even with the way the subterranean invaders are.

  • Dwarf Fortress adds experimental multithreading support
  • Been a dream of every long time dwarf fortress player for this all to happen. It's wonderful having an extra person on who can work on all this stuff while tarn and zach full steam ahead with updates.

  • Looking for a spaceship/sci fi game to play. Any thoughts?
  • Seconding this. This game is deep and amazing. You can literally run a space empire in it with enough work and time.

  • GOG is doing much better than in 2022
  • Literally just bought a game on there today. Support DRM-free!

  • Steam Update Makes Big Changes to the User Interface
  • Steam rejecting the rounded-corner asthetic that basically every program uses now is very funny to me. It really does look quite nice. Valve updating their dev pipelines to streamline the process is something they desperately needed to do.
