Drug and alcohol abuse do the same thing .... which is why it is so prevalent in our society and civilization today.

If we can't find a comfortable safe reality .... we'll try to escape to one of fantasy, even if it's just for a moment.

It's a method of normalization.

You keep pushing the message .... false, lie, exaggeration, rumor, suggestion, whatever

Keep repeating and pushing the idea of immigrant terrorists and everyone will talk about it.

Until at one point everyone will believe it.

There is verified evidence of it.

Even a body count of 50,000 dead so far and millions of displaced starving people who don't have their homes any more. It's been reported, documented, photographed, on video, eye witness accounts, verified by journalists, academics and politicians.

We are all complicit at this point.

In 50 years, the world will blame all of us who are alive now for letting this happen.

.... at one point in the evening, at the height of all activities, the entire collective will be connected to each other as one.

Rebroadcast it in Turkey with new voiceovers and you'll be golden ... for a few years anyway. And you'll have a chance at becoming a cult classic

You'll get three movies on the side and a resurrected sequel series with the main character.

And guest appearances on other shows.

Plus you'll be related to a whole community of like minded shows and cousins to even more. And you'll have an enormous dedicated fan base who will endlessly reference you.

I'd say you're going to do just fine.

Season one was severely under funded and the show has stagnated ever since and it's barely popular enough to stay on air.

It would be funny if it weren't so close to reality.

Proportional representation threatens the owner class of wealthy people in our country because a more democratic system would eventually remove their power and control.

The biggest surprise for me is in how America just stands by and says nothing about it

If Biden had been up there saying that about a political opponent .... it would make headlines all over the world.

Trump does it and his behaviour is so normalized that everyone just shrugs their shoulders and moves on.

These idiots in positions of power saying and doing whatever they want aren't the problem .... it's everyone else who just accept it all.

They play the game as long as possible.

It's like a religion at this point in history.

If you have enough people who blindly believe in the whole thing, no matter how absurd, everything continues to grow and expand. Once enough people lose faith, then the whole system comes crashing down.

I do watch and listen to a lot of Chomsky .... but the guy has so much content, you'd have to relive his entire life to hear everything he said and read everything he ever wrote. The man is amazing. I just wish he were a lot younger than he is.
