A man wants to marry his girlfriend, but their family is old fashioned and he feels he should get the father's permission first. The man goes fishing with his potential fiancé's father, and gets ready to see if he'll get the blessing. He begins taking out the ring, but a fish knocks the boat, and the ring into the water. A fish eats it. Panicked, the man spends the rest of the morning trying to catch the fish to retrieve the ring. Sulken, the man gives up without having caught the fish, without catching any fish. He goes to the store to buy a fish to bring home, and he sees it. He sees the fish that ate the ring. He buys it and cuts it open in the parking lot. Inside he finds...a dancing singing cookie.
