I once worked for a small vehicle tracking company. Like tracking fleets. School buses, delivery trucks,... But one day I heard that a local police department was a customer of ours. I overheard this when the police chief was visiting. He wanted to know where his vehicles were, but weirdly he was super pointed about making sure we weren't keeping any history. I immediately looked up the account (small company, devs had keys to the kingdom) to see what kind of history the police wanted to hide. Dozens of vehicles on the account but one quickly caught my eye: a vehicle without its sirens on was doing 125 MPH back and forth on some dirt roads just outside the city. That vehicle did this at least once a week.
The RNC bus full of senators we tracked stopped outside of a strip club for 4 hours one year. Didn't need history to watch that happen.
This is the first I'm hearing of a phone call. You should mention that in your post.
If anything is spying, I'd be more inclined to say it's your keyboard than Signal.

It's not fake, it's a wish.
I'm not touching brave with a 10 ft pole but thanks for your advertisement
I am specifically waiting for this to happen so I can be part of the flood to Firefox when they finally throw the switch.
THIS is how ex-presidents influence elections!
The right would rather attack a real woman than, oh, say, a literal child rapist
Everett is my spirit animal
The debate should not be held on an entertainment channel.
You're a good artist. What really caught my eye was exactly how spot on your duck drawing was to my non-professional eye.
I hope you keep at it.
EDIT: I just reread your comment. I don't mean to make it sound like recreating other people's art is the problem. Of course practice is important and existing stuff makes a comparison easier, I'm 100% in agreement with you. Please don't stop. But i think it's also easy for someone to have seen your art and assumed it was original. This is a place where showing off original work is accepted and "practice" doesn't indicate originality one way or the other.
And I didn't have to do that this time! Thank you.
No, you're clearly right. Implying it's your own through silence is an ethical thing to do.
If he hits the ball and it goes through a window, another Everett should step in
Truth is, I made up which way was which because nothing about this push-pull paddle expresses which direction is which action and I can never remember. Every time I interact with it is a guess. Do it one way, if I was wrong then do it the other. I'm onboard with idempotency but I feel this trades clarity for it.
Unpopular? That's my opinion!
My wife's car has a emergency brake PADEL (not pedal) on the dashboard that is connected on one end and you can push down on the other end or loop your finger under the padel and pull up (like a button version of a diving board). You push it to turn on the Emergency Brake, and once on, you pull it to turn it off. But what if it's off and you pull it? Nothing. If it's on and you push it? Nothing. This button takes 2 inputs but depending on its current state only 1 input will do anything. It's bad UI/UX in the real world.
Here's a stock photo of the kind of button but in a different car than my wife's.
Ha, imagine an alternate universe where crowdstrike took down people's refrigerators.
