Ideas for rounding corners on odd shapes?
  • Router and template! Use a band saw or jig saw or even a coping saw to cut out the shapes in MDF or something. Use a 1/2" drill bit as a template and draw on your rounded corners. And then sand or file or rasp them to shape. THEN use a flush trim router bit and go to town!

  • Thoughts on canon in fiction? I think I'm done with it tbh
  • There's a balance to be had. I would be mad if, say, one novel had Ahsoka listed as a former Jedi. And the next has her as a failed Jedi. And the next as a member of the Jedi order, trying to rebuild it from the inside. As long as the related works agree with themselves enough that you aren't confused with what's going on, it's probably okay.

  • Help making good corn tortillas?
  • Adding a little salt to the mix is a good first step. I don't think it changes how they cook, but it makes them taste a lot better.

As for the pan, your stainless steel pan should be fine. If the tortillas are thin enough, you don't really need a lot of thermal retention (and your stainless probably has an aluminum core to hold and spread heat anyway). First step once they're in the pan is to almost immediately flip them. You seal off one side so too much moisture doesn't escape. Then cook as normal. Good luck!

  • What do you all use for password management?
  • I use OneNote, with a bunch of coded words that mean other things and mix and match those to make longer passwords that are all different. Because I'm too lazy for a real app, and this is secure enough and useful enough.

  • Progress is moving relatively quickly now. There was YEARS of delay due to acquiring land and fighting lawsuits. Opponents kinda hoped California would get tired, but it seems more like the state is just gon' push through even harder. I'm excited!
