Zoomers & Boomers are the same
  • The thing is, research and learning is itself a skill that must be learned, and they don't teach critical thinking skills in school. Without an occasional friction-laden experience of figuring something out by trial and error, you won't ever learn HOW to learn, and I think that's the thing people get hung up on here. It not "younger ppl be stupid" its just literally "younger people are generally exhibiting less and less critical thinking skills year over year".

  • Utah becomes the first state to ban fluoride in public drinking water
  • This isn't really a right-wing wackadoo thing (or at least not exclusively).

Portland, OR hasn't put fluoride in their drinking water for a VERY long time, with many people citing the fact that they don't want the pristine Bull Run water source tainted.

If you use fluoridated (or even nanosilver particle) toothpaste and/or mouth wash, there isn't really any logical reason to also have it in your drinking water, right?

  • Some GOLD I saw on a thread right now

In the days immediately after my dad's death, I had the house to myself and had retreated to my basement/office space to have a stress-relieving wank. Just outside of my space was my daughter's battery-operated activity table that was known to play jingles at random. What it was not well known for was playing the giggling sound effect at random. So imagine how quickly I put my dick away when that table laughed at me not once, not twice, but three times in the span of a minute.

If that wasn't my dad's ghost making fun of me, I don't know what it was.
