  • Me too. Hopefully this shows signs of more bridges, or adding on to some (looking at you Temporal bridges, a shame we can't change you). (and add a cool bridge to the compiler, please)

  • Nah, the Orion Hurricanes.

  • There! Are! FOUR! Lights!

But anyways it was a great episode. Unfortunately part of the "Picard must suffer" trope.

  • turn into an octopus. I command you. I am your superior officer.

  • The title got me as well, and I was sober. My heart dropped and then I reread and let a sigh of relief...

  • The Protostar is in a lockbox... honestly I'm not surprised. The T6-X2 token allows for 8 IsoMags, so minmaxers will probably gobble it up. These new borg are probably Mirror Borg. Excited, but I some aspects are ehh...

Edit: I wouldn't be surprised if the "Resistance of Starbase 1" is just a reskin of the Klingon TFO "Defense of Starbase 1".

  • Honestly this should've been a lower decks story. Billups gets so angry he talks like that for the whole episode.

  • Last Time on Space Trek: The Next Crew "Contact Spacefleet Command. Let them know our situation." says Commander Jean-Will Crusher, a German who speaks in a weirdly British accent, talking to helmsman Geordi la Troi. "Counselor Picard, what's our situation?" he asks to Deanna Picard, the half Human half Vulcan counselor. "Captain, the crew of the Entership-C cannae take anymore! I suggest you give them a break,"

  • I mean Hemmer's species (the Aenar) are naturally blind and see through telepathy, all of them. So that really doesn't include him.

  • Honestly this is probably how it would go: "Hi, my laptop won't turn on. I've tried replacing the power cells, charging it, but nothing's happening. Can you help?" "Hmm... have you turned it off and back on again?" "Umm... it's not turning on." "It's turning on?" "No, it's-" "Hooray. I am smart. I am strong. I will go." "Wait, don't hang-" (hangs up)

  • You mean 4? Detmer, Ro, Gavin, and Welsey don't have anything to use against the other 4.

EDIT: Detmer may have something against the other 4.

  • Need to rewatch TOS then, memory's got a bit rusty. Thanks!

  • That's true, TWOK requires him being on Enterprise for Season 1, or at least Space Seed. I wouldn't hold stardates too closely since they basically pulled them out of a hat and used whatever was pulled. But he would be in his late teens.

  • Nevermind, forgot that Chekov wasn't introduced until Season 2... but Sulu is a possibility.

  • A cliffhanger... I was hoping they wouldn't introduce those. I expect Sam and M'Benga will be the only one who makes it out alive... expecting to see Sulu and Chekov introduced soon.

Edit: Also the "They've been beamed up... by the gorn" and Pike standing there has the potential to be one of the most horrifying cliffhangers in Star Trek.

    2nd Edit: Not Chekov....
