It's really sad to see. You would think those in Labor would know first-hand how batshit insane their colleagues are across the aisle and leap at the opportunity to right the ship while they've got the chance. Doesn't it suck to feel powerless in Opposition compared to Government? Faffing around and not addressing cost of living means voters get upset and will take it out on them; "Opposition don't win elections, Governments lose them". Labor hasn't been known for the past couple of decades to hold government as long as the LNP, so they will be pushed out with nothing to their name at this rate; I don't think anybody is going to remember getting double medications per script, even if that's really handy for me personally. Since they hid the Federal ICAC from the public eye that's not going to generate any political capital for them either.
They're banking on using the Voice as another legacy trophy but it has nothing on Medicare, which hasn't quite been as gutted as the NDIS or NBN, just from it's scope I think. They're also just hoping that it's going to pass, but if it doesn't? They have nothing to show. Will we suddenly see a flurry of legislation if it fails, to save face? That seems like madness.

Anybody else find it a bit gross that with an already productive workforce, the 'issue' of the 4 day work week needs to be framed like this...instead of it being about giving people their time and lives back without a reduction in pay?

No, I haven't. It's been a long time since I played multiplayer in any game at all! Which wasn't local co-op with my sister at least...If Playnite is to be believed that would be Titanfall 2, 2 years ago.
Since I'm limited to one hand (I fractured my elbow), I've been going back to my strategy game catalogue. At first I started with Endless Legend, which I've got over 100 hours in, but I wasn't vibing with it. The backlog game I had on the side, Age of Wonders Planetfall, became my main game. I'm still trying to get into it, but it just feels too cluttered for it's own good. I don't think I want to give up on it but alongside that I began playing Endless Space 2 which is really cool! Even with experience in the Endless series it still feels a bit complicated, it's not as insane as Stellaris, but I have a good feeling about it now.
Members from UQ Canoe Club are excited about the white water facility. There's no places to have a go at it at all unless you plan a really long trip up north...which also means you need to share water with crocodiles! Then you need to recruit two experienced people to guide you so you don't die!
I would never do it myself. Ocean waves are fun enough for me.
I think it's sad. There is so much good information stored in the side bars, like for example /r/buildapc or /r/fitness, that I hope gets salvaged by the fediverse.
Plus our spaces here need indexing so we can find answers to obscure questions again.
That might be true for the main threads at the other place but I spent most of my time in every place except the defaults, so I feel less of a difference. Even so, I know there's an uptick in quality just because there's a bit of friction getting into the fediverse and participating.
This was my problem trying to get into it after MegaCorp. Suddenly production went from a familiar mechanic like in Endless Legend or Civ to a convoluted mess with all the branching resources. One day I'll get back into it...

Otherwise I have Artificer with Reliquary of Myth overriding to overhaul as many artifacts and unique items as possible.
There's also the Regal Paladin Armor my knight is rocking.
