  • Honestly, headphone jacks are number 1.

Then also, FM radios. Most Android phones had them up until a few years ago, when Apple stopped shipping iphones with the feature, to push more people onto iTunes. I'm not a huge radio listener. But having the functionality during an emergency is invaluable. There was a really bad storm in my country a few years ago. Me and my family had no power and no internet for nearly a week. I would listen to my battery powered radio to get weather updates and to find out what the situation was like elsewhere. I don't understand why that same functionality can't be implemented in phones.

Besides that, removable batteries, sim card and SD card slots.

  • I use it occasionally. Usually for reports or essays for college and working on CV/ Resumes for me and my family.

Sometimes also for other random stuff like writing speeches etc.

It has everything I need and I am used to it at this stage. Plus I like that it is open source and free.

  • Reminds me of that Mark Zuckerburg video of him trying to be normal and smoking some brisket casually in his yard.

I think it was to demonstrate Facebook's new live streaming feature. But the video came across really false and forced

  • Very tanky ultra left pro Russia, pro China, anti everyone else part of Fediverse.

Check them out if you like but they only talk shit about the West and NATO. Put another way, you are not missing much by avoiding them.

  • Was watching the Summer Game Fest livestreams a few days ago, noticed the guy in the trailer for this game had a Northern Irish accent. Looked them up and surprisingly enough, they are based in Belfast.

The game they are making, Parcel Corps seems a bit like Jet Set Radio but with bikes and delivery missions. Seems pretty cool tbh. I will likely check it out, just wanted to share :)
