Which of your favorite creators content quality went downhill very quickly?
  • And is was interesting when he went trough a paper on light calculations when rendering object and new physics calculation on fluids. The bulk of his content now seems to be "LOOK AT THIS STABLE DIFFUSION!" With "CHATGPT! Look at the AI do stuff!"

  • Which of your favorite creators content quality went downhill very quickly?
  • I think Vsauce is a lot more grifty than he looks. If you look at the really early videos they were very different and he changed his content wildly in order to find something that makes the most money with the least work. The science education happened to be profitable but as the Meta started favouring more than 10+ min and science vids became mini documentaries he just dropped off and started reviewing science toys and do compilation videos. Right now he is doing a lot of shorts because they are being pushed by the algorithm.

  • THE WEAPONIZATION OF LONELINESS
  • You know what is worse? Depressed bed blobs pretending that they are introverts and normalizing antisocial behaviour. Healthy introverts have and regularly meets friends. They just don't do it as often and in the same way as extroverts. I know these things because I went to therapy instead of trying to normalize my insecurities on the internet.

  • What is Tom Bombadil?
  • I never thought of him being immune to Sauron as him being powerful. He is just like the the hobbits but to its fullest. Bombadil is perfectly content with his own existence and there is nothing for the ring to tempt him with.

  • Insanity
  • https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/04/us/escalators-standing-or-walking.html

This article makes it clear that standing on both sides of the escalator increases general flow of people though the escalator and when they ask the company managing the new york escalators they say that it is their recommendation that people stand on the escalator because that is safer.

In conclusion, standing on elevators is both faster and safer.

Is there anything else you want to know, you smug cunt?

  • Insanity
  • Escalators are a form of elevator and not stairs. They were put there because stairs would be to long or too steep for stairs and a traditional elevator has less capacity. I also believe that the general recommendation is that you don't walk in elevators because it creates a significant amount of risk of accidents while saving an insignificant amount of time.

  • What's some really unpopular opinion you have?
  • Natural resources it the prime example. I think all natural resources should exclusively be under democratic control and all profits from the sale of naturals resources goes exclusively to the government. Developed land like private housing gets complicated fast but ideally things should work like things work now but the government fulfills the functions of a landlord.

  • What's some really unpopular opinion you have?
  • Nobody should be allowed to own land. You can build a building and that building is yours because you built it but you can't make land and the only reason you own it is because someone in the past used violence to take it.

  • ‘No Republican party’ in US today, says anti-Trump conservative judge
  • Both the democratic and republican party are several smaller parties tied together into two disgusting rat king. If one of them disappear today there will be an instant split of the surviving party into two new rat kings. The collapse isn't what they fear. They fear that the Overton window would move left.

  • The new system to replace Reddit coins and awards is here. You got out at the right time.
  • Community points isn't supposed to be valuable. This is about making people start a vault/wallet and engage in crypto in a way that is fun and non threatening. They already tried it with the avatars but I doubt it got a whole lot of traction. At some point the real crypto currency will appear and suddenly reddit will have a platform with a couple of millions users that already has a wallet set up and ready. That will make reddit one of the biggest crypto platforms on the internet.

This is also what the API thing was about. Third party apps didnt/couldn't include the vault on their apps so a lot of user didn't even know the vault existed until now.
