You and your immediate family (spouse, children...): it is your duty to make your life and theirs as happy as possible.
Your immediate community (neighbor, friends): share the joy and help out as much as you can.
Your extended community (coworkers...): do the best you can to make their lives as easy as possible and be a nice person.
Your region and your country: be a good upstanding citizen.
The rest of the world: take care of the first four and the world will be a better place. But you can't do everything for everybody, and the misery of others beyond your reach is not your fault.
COVID, up from 3.3% the prior two months, CDC data shows.
Just wait until next month and CDC will announce a 150,000% drop. Thank goodness the totally impartial, totally not-a-crackpot, new Trump-appointed CDC director Tim O'Neil is now in charge.
Do an end-run around the crazy bobby brainworm and his ilk.
You know, if you push this logic to its logical conclusion, you should also go around FEMA, federal education, federal SS paramilitary disguised as immigration officers, illegal federal taxes disguised as emergency tariffs...
And when your state has enough federal nonsense to go around, it might want to defederate entirely, and that's called secession.
Your state of Colorado might not be big enough to amount to much on its own in the world, but larger states like California, with the GDP of large nations, really should consider it. Because while the federal ship is still afloat, the entire deck and rigging are on fire at this point.
All this fascistizing, Constitution-trampling, deporting and tariffing, and the price of eggs still hasn't come down...
One day, all the motherfuckers who voted Trump will explain to you that they're disappointed, they've been took, this isn't what they voted for, and they're just as much a victim of the fascist US regime as you are. That will be the time to punch them as hard as possible in the fucking face. Because they knew. They all knew.
Well, I've lived in France and I can tell you, Parisians are the rudest people east of New York. Especially if you speak French - which I do quite well.
Whenever I have to go back to Paris, I always make a point of speaking English, because then the waiters make a modicum of effort to behave nicer: they know Americans tip separately so it's a double-tip for the French waiters, because gratuity is included in the price in France, and most Americans don't know that.
But seeing the reputation Americans have abroad nowadays, perhaps I'll rethink that one next time I have to travel to Paris again. It's been a while since the last time.
I use Grayjay on my MNT Laptop (arm64) in Linux through Waydroid. A native client would be better but the solution with Android emulation works a treat. No issues.
Oh dear... Vladimir stabbed Donald in the back. Such drama! And we didn't see this coming at all.
