Tiny bit of backstory: I work in Spain so there's a lot of kissing on the chicks when greeting someone. Spanish people kiss twice, in western countries people kiss 3 times so sometimes there's a bit of confusion. Anyway, once a girl from Romania met a French co-worker next to my desk. Typical greeting and she says:
How do French people kiss?
The guy got a little bit confused and says:
Trust me, you don't want me to show you how the French kiss...
Not really related but I found it extremely funny.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind - it's just so nicely structured, you always notice something new
Glengarry Glen Ross - I finished watching it for the first time and I thought go myself "fuck, I could watch it again" and I did, watch the whole movie again straight away. I can still just go back and watch it. The acting is so amazing it never gets boring
Veep - best show ever, I've seen every episode probably over 10 times and I still watch it all the time, like when I'm cooking or something. It's just soooo fucking perfect
What? Newspapers not rapid. They are printed only once per day because of all the writing and editing that's required. Do it any faster and you'll end up with lot's of typos and factual errors.
I'm being voted down? Good thing my instance doesn't have down votes.
And if someone doesn't want to talk to people that's fine, use the apps. Just don't complain that the apps got shitty. That was the plan from the start. You had to be stupid not to realize that the moment they got rid of competition they will start squeezing everyone hard. The choice was always between talking to people or giving full control to bad actors. People made their choice, now live with it.
Can I have two of those?
