Well don't know how old you are but going to ask anyways Remember the Opiod crisis? One of my brothers was addicted like a mofo. I said then I will never do pre drugs to get high or cope. After 5 rehabs he finally got clean and is going on 5 years. I am not dependent on alcohol and I know alot of people say that but I am not. I use it kind of and I hate to admit this like a semi crutch. I don't need it or drink the whole pint in one day. I put maybe about 3 or 4 shots in coffee. I may have a tolerance but I can tell you this. That out of a pint I drink half. Then that half will help me for the next 3 days. I have gone years without drinking and know how to easily go thru it. But the day it messes me up or I walk into a job drunk or anything I will enter a rehab. It is kind of like if you put a bandaid on scratch or whatever. You don't scratch the sore or anything. My drinking is kind of like the bandaid I only use it when I get a sore. I don't use it everyday.

To be honest I don't know but I have heard it goes back to Knightgale. We try to cope the best we can. As a traveling nurse you kinda expect either to work a couple hours a shift. But when it pops off you pretty much are on a 48 hour shift and then try and I mean really try to get a good twelve hours sleep before your back at it. I am an RN and if I feel overwhelmed by stuff I usually can get an LPN to help me out.

ABOUT FUCKING TIME. Someone who enjoys them too. When I first started it was just thrift shops. Then and I am not certain of this you can find Garment Store which will give you a discount. I have been in 3 cities and have bought from them. Don't know if they are nation wide but when I see one I usually stock up which helps because whatever the hospital I go to I can pick out the colors of the hospital and that makes it easier.

I don't drink to get drunk but being a traveling nurse you have to pay out of pocket for pills. And since I am not stationed less than six months at a time. It hard to find a PCP tells him or her that I have SSAD. I have done it many times. But the way I have found is the easiest is if I control my caffeine and liquor I am fine. If it ever comes the day that I cannot control either then totally will take my savings and go to detox or rehab. I don't drink to get messed up but when I get nervous my hands shake which I can't control. Especially when a doctor is operating on someone and ask me for an instrument and I am shaking all over the place. I drink just enough to shut off the nerves and my brain. It usually becomes a problem closer at night that is why I wait to take my lunch.

How am I feeling? I am tired..usually at this hospital that was usually slow we had one hell of a day with patients coming in. So pretty damned tired. Why do I think that is? Probably because I have been on my feet for ....15 hours running around from the ER to patients rooms on the 5th floor. I thought this was a hospital I could just coast the contract out didn't know all at once we would have 50 patients at once.

You may not know this and thats ok but do you know how much they will pay a nurse to help people out in Cuba? As a traveling nurse am generally interested.
