I listen to a lot of a local classical station which usually plays standard but fine pieces without interruption through the day making it great for house wide background music, but when they're having a membership drive they suddenly switch to playing fucking movie music (mostly John Williams and Joe Hisaishi) with interruptions between every piece about how epic it was, and don't you want to preserve the joy of classical music? I don't get why they seem to be exclusively courting the donations of people skipping through radio stations one by one and then donating because they played the star wars theme.
