To my knowledge the federation is completely post monetary. But, we do see individual people who in it that use money. Riker mentioned a few times owing debts or being owed debts from card games and the like, iirc. I think it's largely a personal choice, as money is unnecessary in their society. Nothing that matters has a monetary cost, like shelter, food, etc. And luxuries within the federation itself seem to also be free at the point of use, but I think there is some kind of credit system in use. Sisko mentions using up a months worth of transporter credits to come home for dinner during his time at the academy, if I'm remembering right.
Given the whole schtick of being a post capitalist, but not quite fully communist, society that the franchise has, combined with my personal knowledge of various socialist ideas around transitionary societies, my best guess is that they function off a form of labor voucher. Non transferable credits to be used for whatever goods are restricted or scarce. But with some kind of loophole around the transferability when it comes to dealing with non federation members who still use money.
Not just Nazis. Sometimes Hindu, Buddhist and Jains, too. And then there are those like me, white, Western Dharmicish folks who will not use it, or defend it, but know about it's uses pretty intimately, and get nervous whenever the conversation comes up, because so not a Nazi
They're just horrible in my experience. They're mainly designed for pulling sewing thread through a sewing needle eye, not embroidery floss through an embroidery needle. The floss is just too thick, and it breaks the threader. They sell better ones, I'm told, but I just quit bothering with them after the first half dozen. Lol .

My mom sold on eBay in the early 2000s. Spent my formative years in thrift shops. Found a small balsa wood merry go round that had a fan at the top. Burn a candle, blades spun, horses went around. It was hand made, and she sold it for like 500 dollars. We paid a buck for it.

Easy veggie soup with brown rice. Take desired vegetables (I like yellow squash, zucchini, celery, potatoes, carrots, onion, garlic), chop roughly, add to instant pot, cover with water, pressure cook on high for 10 minutes. When done, spice it to taste now that you can actually tell the flavor. Use slotted spoon/spider to remove veggies, set to side. Extract 4 cups of the broth, add it to rice maker with 2 cups of brown rice. While your rice cooks, put half of the veggies in a blender, blend until smooth. Add remaining veggies back to the pot with the blended veggies. Stir in some sour cream to make it creamy. Serve it over the rice.
Can also skip the rice, use corn starch to thicken a bit, and serve it with pimento cheese and crackers. Sub brown rice for wild rice. Throw in some chicken. Use different veggies. Triple the potatoes instead of other thickening methods. Possibilities are virtually endless. It's a different soup each time, which helps with variety. Excellent recipe if you grow squash, because them suckers are prolific.
Easy tacos:
Half a pound ground beef, large can of Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies. Cook and drain the beef, add tomatoes and heat. Place corn tortillas (real ones, not those yellow "taco shells") in a lightly greased skillet and cook on one side for 30 seconds. Flip tortilla, add cheese of choice (sharp cheddar, various supermarket "queso," I prefer Oaxaca), cook another 30 seconds. Add to plate, spoonful of the meat/tomato mix. On the side, spoonful of sour cream with smoky hot sauce mixed in. Putting it on the sides prevents it from cooking off your taco too much. Dip and enjoy.
