What is a fun childish thing you still do as an adult?
  • I go into puddles on purpose

  • Does your country celebrate Halloween?
  • Whoa I didn't notice the date lol

  • Does your country celebrate Halloween?
  • The media has been pushing it in the last decade here(Japan). But it's more like putting on cat ears and witch hats and taking pics for instagram. Trick or treating is not common unless somebody in your neighborhood organizes an event.

  • Musk is undeniably just trying to run twitter into the ground at this point.
  • I totally agree and hope that this will be the turning point for the better, but my government is one that still depends on fax machines and had a recent cyber security minister that did not know how to use a computer, so...Even seeing government accounts on twitter was a big step forward.

  • Jerboa currently unusable for other people?
  • Same here. Wefwef and Liftoff work better for me now.

  • Twitter was great during the big earthquake we had in Japan, because phones weren't working. People sent out tweets for help and got help thanks to twitter.

After this, a lot of municipalites made accounts and now they post emergency info on twitter, but this just fucks everything up.

  • Four apps and counting, how is everyone else doing?
  • I installed liftoff, liking it at the moment!

  • Four apps and counting, how is everyone else doing?
  • I've only used Jerboa, now I think I need to try Connect/Liftoff

  • Is anybody else more active here then they were on Reddit?
  • Yes! English is not my first language, so commenting on Reddit made me nervous. I find Lemmy to be more forgiving (if that makes sense?) as well.

  • Let us welcome the wave of Apollo/RiF defectors!
  • Relay was my go-to app too

  • Are there any Reddit refugees spending more time on Lemmy than Reddit?
  • I'm about 40% Reddit and 60% lemmy/kbin right now. Once my Reddit app of choice (Relay) dies, I'll probably be here 100%
