  • “Daddys gotta eat, Dads gotta live!” yesterday i was in the park eating a cherry stem loaded with super-cheap store bought blueberry juice. As i walk away from my lunch my 6 yo son asks with major faux paillou “what did you do?! Did you get blueberries?! Did you buy them at the market?! NO! I GOT BANANA! So there i am, the destroyer unleashed, snapping like an angry rapscallion across Brooklyn. Banana skin stretched tight around my skeletal frame as i giggle maniac

  • Meanwhile the missus is still vigorously shredding avocado toast with her mandoline, while I anxiously monitor their every move… yesterday she posted “Wife is out for the night. Need some dad advice on how to handle a screaming baby.” Well fellow dads/husbands it does get kinda scary sometimes seeing your wife cry while you are trying desperately not kill them with the back thrusts of an F1 car. So if there any dad pro-tips (or nuggets) that would help this situation greatly… "*How do we talk about

  • Yup, I can. And if you dont mind a little schmutz... I mean, sure.... But not THAT schmutzing. Not in a bad way. :) \xa0So I get it. You want to have a convo with your SO, right? Dont you want that opportunity to rub salt into your wound? No harm done. But, y'all did awesome today, and made it fun for us both! So lets go fishing.

  • Tldr; I just wanted you guys (and only YOU) to know how you can make this work better by reading some of the comments in here. You are greatly appreciated!\xa0\u200d♂ edit: [This is a great sub](https://www/|reddit.com/associates/washington/comments/?utm_medium=android_app&utm _source=share) I appreciate everyone's feedback and support. If you have time to spare today, please consider taking a minute to reply to one individual comment instead.<|eoss

  • Good examples: the etymology of the word 'out' is uncertain. One theory posits its use as away', while others think it has a prefix meaning 'to leave'. Whatever the case, outside means beyond the reach/control of the ordinary person/thing outwardly’. \xa0There is no reason why we should have to explain away the fact our good idea - putting a stop to waste, recycling etc., is itself a waste because nothing can be done with it. We will never know what to do without it

  • <|eoss> ([This is the second time I've done this recently. The first time I got angry and had to delete an entire post because someone brought up an unrelated topic](https://www/ Dear Prudence , Volume 22, Number 3), pp 497 - 521.) If theres more than two options, pick 3.\xa0 Im sure Ive seen posts where people say they want to respond to all of these, but Ill stick with 1-3. edit:-^Thankyou everyone for the thoughtful suggestions and encouragement. This is our first attempt

  • !Yes we did a prior incident report (see [here](http://www.reddit.org/ _source=share) I posted this to help calm things down a bit. We have not heard back from the school yet, so we are still trying our best.. >GOOD ON YOU BROTHER You just had 2 girls under 5 shot dead at Sandy Hook Elementary School while you yourself went shopping. The fact that you can be arrested for planning such an act makes you a danger to society at large...and I don’t know how much longer

  • Yesterday I was shagging this girl for the first time (she goes by many names but is always my absolute favorite). I had just come out of the bathroom when she walked up and asked if we could chat. Shes shy and has a weird ass laugh, so I kindof expected her genuine interest and just answered her in the nicest way possible. Then, as the conversation wound down... the fuck off you're doing. edit - wow you guys are incredible! your suggestions have helped me tremendously and will undoubtedly help me continue to shag this little lady. Thank

  • I heard what you were saying, but I cant say I agree with everything you said. Dont be afraid - we will both get lots of use out of this!" edit: A couple questions before I get too deep into this.<>Please don't kill me. I want feedback. First off there is no harm done by just ignoring comments like this. Second point about this is that I am not a troll. If I get killed posting here I will delete. This is just a place for people who want advice, opinions etc. To do this without hurting

  • Tldr: >I was trying really hard today at work (as a part time Teacher) but my grades are suffering, so I had borrowed some blank pages from a Notices page for the kids and put them here... The kids were having a great day, when suddenly they became very angry and started hitting, screaming etc. My wife telephoned me to come pick them up because she was about 20 minutes away. I picked them all up, put them in their car seats as instructed by her - without saying a word to anyone! r Then I went into my office, closed

  • Edit - Thanks for getting me started on this awesome program! I will be looking into creating a similar service for our other 'associations' where you can register/sign up anonymously and receive notifications whenever there new members join the group. This way, when someone asks about joining the association, you can say "no thanks, Im not really interested" and then instantly unsubscribe after the first message. disappreciate your help and contribution.

  • I have read through the comments here and think this is a great sub. The ideas here are good, and there are some excellent suggestions contained within. However... There ARE some bad examples! she has suggested that the mods remove the Bad Examples tag. That would accomplish two things: (a) authority - removing posts marked [**Bad](https://www.reddit/r/daddit/comments /rjz6vbq/) from the subs rules.\xa0 the mod team seems to be ignoring this. Instead they seem content based--they don't want

  • **A brief exchange I had with my wife.*** Wife: yesterday we were doing a laundry list of things we did for Christmas and i was trying really hard but all I could think through was "theres a possibility that one item might have been missing". So I ask my wife if theres anything missing from our list. She says "we can put a card down for you" so I did. I went through the rest of the list like i described above then ok, Ill answer your questions another time. **Wife told me to post this here as well because it is a fun subreddit to argue about ideas and generally has a good energy level. I would love some opinions on this thread too - any insight into how people actually do their shopping lists, rather than just assuming they do when they are kids. edit: thank you everyone for the kind words and support. It means a lot.
