I don't post much other than memes but I comment lots and try to upvote quality posts. Reddit is dead to me, I spend too much of my time on social medias anyways.

Yeah literally, this same thing can be said about every country on earth. The only places where corporations haven't infected the government are ones like Afghanistan that have no strong corporations.

Man this would be tits, I'm using jerboa right now but the app has a bunch of UI issues where it just feels kinda clunky, I don't mind it looking visually dated (this does look better though) but it's more about functionality to me, I'd be interested in trying a different app.

I mean the streamers have to get paid too, you might hear artists complain about how much money Spotify takes but as someone who has released lots of music on Spotify they do pay you, pretty decently too! Lots of artists are making hundreds of thousands a year from just Spotify and the business itself is profitable, which allows pretty much anyone to upload their music and try their dream.

That is valuable in it of itself, without services like Spotify many of the artists I listen too would probably have given up on music for a boring IT job, like I did.

You don't even wanna know what rule 5 is!

Could you explain to me more of what happened with beehaw?

I've been having the same problem, it happens a lot and I'm not sure why because it seems like requests for liking/commenting features are getting through to the server.

Yeah I'm kinda pissed that they are charging me so that I can not get my paycheck on time lol. A lot of places will give it to you a day early

I'm not a lawyer but anyone with a brain cell would agree this is false advertising at least, possibly breach of contract depending on what the TOS says.

You can actually set up firewall settings to block any traffic coming from the ads, the only way they can stop that form of ad block is to block the person's IP address.
