  • One of my all time favorite shows, I really hope they can pull this off without it seeming off. Since the world was created so many years ago them talking about things like Bitcoin or tv streaming might feel weird if done improperly but it seems like most of the core crew from the original run are still on so I'm hoping it will go well and I believe it will!

  • Cool! That would definitely be a huge time saver if it works properly. How has the project come along so far? Do you have any pictures to share?

I'm also curious how responsive the chip is, and if it can refresh often without corrupting it's data output? High quality, all in one gyro/accelerometers are definitely gonna be needed in the future of robotics and so I'm gonna have to check out the documentation for this sensor before I start my next project.

  • Yeah I've been called for jury duty twice and both times I didn't respond and didn't show up and nothing has ever happened to me.

I'm not familiar with the laws but the way I understood it wouldn't have been paid and I need my paycheck.

  • Weird how as the crown corporations have disappeared everything in Canada has gotten more and more expensive 🤔

It's almost like crown corporations make a profit to fund their service, and corporations make a profit to figure out how to make a bigger profit.

  • This is really interesting, the fact that it's so much cooler (presumably older) than the other white dwarf pulsar we've found will definitely help round out the dynamo theory and help us nail down our calculations about what the lifetime of these objects looks like.

It would be very interesting as this will lay the groundwork for understanding how the dynamo system functions, maybe it'll unlock some new understanding of how iron behaves under such extreme environments, or maybe something new.

I wish the publication wasn't paywalled. The news article was nice but I want to see the data!

  • I mean, if you know your dog is scared of fireworks, then you should just get your dog some ear muffs and some treats and chill with em until the fireworks are over, give em love so that they learn that it's nothing bad.

If you complain about something that doesn't directly affect your dog, but your not willing to train your dog or put in the effort and love to help it, then you are a bad dog owner.

Don't blame the doggos, and don't blame the people minding their own business not hurting anyone, life isn't supposed to be super easy no problems 24/7.

  • I think instead of karma we should have an activity and age metric, a badge or something showing how many months/years your account has existed, and an activity metric like posts&comments/day so that it's easy to tell an old, regularly active account from a young account that is spamming a a bunch of comments per day.

  • Make it a webapp interface, chat gpt may suck with a lot of things but it's great at web design.

If you design a PCB I bet you could get a backpack in there without sacrificing that much space, but I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to LCD displays and idk your project soo..

There is the option also of finding some random small screen that runs off of serial, only if you aren't using serial for debugging which is unlikely.

What kind of project is this?
