UK inflation falls sharply to 4.6%
  • Good question. There are probably quite good at measuring well. However, Considering that they say the fall is mostly due to the energy cap, the better question might be...Are they measuring the right prices? There's no right answer, I suppose.

  • Birth rate in Italy reaches new record low
  • Wow, a huge drop in the last 15 years. I find it interesting what governments are trying to do to encourage higher birth rates (I think South Korea and Japan try to promote more as wel). I understand it's good for economics but the environmentalist in me is relieved at the thought of fewer people on the planet.
