I'd rather not be a terrible dad, I'd rather be happy with who my son is and I've got no desire to be the same without him. My daughter, in all my time at the University, is the most loving, caring, and sweet person I've met, and she'd probably do anything to avoid being alone. She'd rather be friends with other women than alone with her dad. She'd rather have people around her than have her dad be alone with her. I'd just like to be able to be there for her in any way possible. It would be super neat to be around her. It'd be so hard for me if she moved and I wasn't there, it'd be super hard for me to just watch her get things she wants and want things she wants, just so she can have things she wants, in a way that she can enjoy. It's not like I'd be stuck in a dark basement with only one TV in the entire world with no other friends. She can watch TV but she'd want to read books. I'm the dad of four girls and I can do anything with them that she wants, so long as I have an idea about how to get them to watch TV together. I'd like to spend time with her and watch TV together.

There’s a point where we as a society have to move on from the past and focus on the present. You can’t just live in the past anymore and expect things to be OK in the future. You need to deal with the present and get comfortable in the present. I'm not sure where that is exactly but I’m getting it.
