  • You're right about this one. I'm pretty sure you were thinking of the first one in the list, though, because that's the one in the second one that most of you linked. My dog is the first person to respond to that post. She's also the person who writes "what do you think of 'The Biggest Losers'."

  • I'll add one more thing. We think our brains are capable of generating randomness. So, when we see a random number, our brain is likely to find a combination of factors that makes that number a certain amount of times that number (e.g., 10 million times 100,000 times 10,000 times 1,000,000 times 1,000,000,000 times...). When we see a sequence of numbers that looks random, our brain is likely to find a combination of factors that makes it a certain number of times that number (e.g., 10 million times 10,000 times 10,000 times 10 million times 1010100,000 times,000). So, even if the sequence looks random, you can still say "the numbers we see look random".

  • We don't have any particular reason to think this video is actually an education video, though it certainly sounds that way. The videos on this sub often get downvoted, but there is a difference between "we don't think this video is appropriate for a discussion" and "it doesn't seem to be a great way to present the material" which I can't seem to find. We can get downvoted if it gets too far into the education or STEM realm.

  • Thank you. That really helped! I got rid of my old habits, and I'm happier now than ever before. I hope your content is interesting as well, I'm not trying to be snarky or anything, it's just been awhile since I've looked back into a question I've asked a thousand times.
