For holidays: You decided where you wanted to go and when, then you called a telephone number or went to a local travel agency, they told you the price, and you paid them. Usually you'd either send in a cheque or hand over a cheque, which took a few days to clear, and then they'd send you your tickets by post. If you were really advanced you might shop around a little bit, but most of the time you'd end up with the same price, so most of us didn't bother.
Precisely this. If the authorities suspect you of digital piracy, they're going to go to your VPN provider and demand the information of the user involved. If that provider is you, you might as well not have used one in the first place.
I would recommend you actually read the article to gain an overall understanding of the issue, instead of asking people to randomly pick and choose individual quotes.
I'm not sure how to report something from the modlog but…

Ancient Domains of Mystery is really really good if you can get into it. It's available on Steam, but you can get the free version which is identical except for the UI from https://adom.de/
I take care of my biological needs. Then I sit in the queue for a job and play games. I always take my 3DS with me, and Pokemon Picross is a surprisingly fun game!
If you just want to play one game, Fitgirl's repacks are by far the easiest way, because she does all the setting-up for you. But if you want to play multiple games, you should be able to get them from the same places you get your NSPs. prod.keys and title.keys - I got mine from https://rentry.org/128bbkeys.
I can't imagine any website would knowingly give away 6GB of bandwidth (3GB to download it, 3GB to send it to you) for free. There's gonna be a catch.
If you don't want to torrent, you could install JDownloader (use this link to get it without spyware) and wait. But I agree that torrenting is probably your best bet. It's certainly what I use.
Oh that's wonderful news! I had a day out all day today, not a single hit, although to be fair it was the middle of the day and I did spend a lot of it inside a Costco. :P
