They do that on purpose, as an AI/Bot wouldn't hesitate.

It is a huge problem that people with mental health issues go undiagnosed and untreated. It's also very disingenuous the same people who want to blame mental health for all gun related violence will do absolutely nothing to provide care for people with mental health issues AND actively oppose providing care.
Truly. It's sickening seeing Americans advocate even harder for gun laws while completely ignoring the mental health or bullying scenarios that cause these..
No, of course not.. but they can cause things like disassociation, hallucinations, paranoia and loss of ones value in life. I'd hate to think anybody meant that mental illness inherently means you have a high chance of being a school shooter, because I bet 95%+ of people with mental illness would never wish harm on others and only their selves

So you don't think a lot of these mass shooters went with untreated and ignored mental illness which sprouted in to things worse than most people could ever understand and it was too late? It's a huge issue that these people would show signs beforehand and nobody did anything about their mental health or bullying.
Obviously there's a solution! Give underpaid and abused teachers guns and ask them to shoot a teenager with zero followup on mental health for the teacher!

Hardline was mocked for being weird mostly, not bad. People always saw it as a stop gap, as DICE didn't even develop it
BF4 was considered the beginning of the end at launch sure, but by the end of its lifecycle it was pulling huge numbers and great reception. They had basically FIXED things like bad netcode and many more fixes that made it the best battlefield had been yet imo as bf3 lacked grander scale in terms of mechanics and content
Bf3 not being bad company 3 was an issue pre launch, but almost immediately people stopped caring because bf3 is almost universally beloved now for its huge balls and incredible rush map design and more enjoyable vehicles than Bad Company
And finally, it's not about the quarter.. the release date is literally only a week after BF1 and CoD was already pulling in huge fps numbers about a month before. It's been observed many times before too that people tend not to buy multiple games before Christmas, and often will only have one or two games to choose from for Christmas.. which means nobody is taking a risk on Titanfall 2 (both for the reasons you stated, and because of the release window)
I'm not happy at all with it, and I miss my P2XL and P4XL everyday because the face unlock and fingerprint sensor on my Pixel 7 is truly dogshit. It pisses me off multiple times a day
