Yeah, it's great. I've dialed in the super fast brew and i love how easy it is to make great coffee that's not scolding hot out of the brewer.

I use water that's 175F and only 14gs of coffee, but otherwise it's the same.

Here is the recipe to save a click:

Coffee: 19.5–20g Grind: Slightly coarser than filter grind Water: 200ml @ 75°C Brewer: Inverted Filter: Paper, soaked

Directions:

• Stir 4 times
• Stop stirring, secure the filter and turn at around 10 seconds (total contact time around 15 sec.)
• Press and serve

I recommend getting 1x16g and then getting another 16g when you have some more cash.

Opened a Single Origin Costa Rica from whole foods. 26 Grind on Encore ESP, did both aeropress and V60. It's a nice light roast, but nothing amazing.

I'm running jellyfin docker container on my Synology. Works great, but I don't transcode. ... Which is another rabbit hole.

I went through this debate myself and ended on the Encore ESP with a 3rd party bellows. I use the wet beans trick for static issues and the bellow deals with my zero retention needs. It is loud however otherwise perfect for aeropress and V60 duty.

I'm interested, but I doubt I really qualify.

Towards the end you could easily load custom kernels to try and make the os less laggy. Ahh those were the days ..
