Thank you for your concern, I have been through the tango of hearing him scream bloody murder at the vet before, and it was indeed very alarming (stomach issues, and they needed to do some tests). He has been acting OK again for now, this really isn't that uncommon of an occurrence for him, and he has been flying like an ace today like usual. If he gets up to some funny business again I will indeed be hauling him back to the vet for some more extensive tests.

Thank you for your response. The other times this has happened and we went to the vet, asymmetry included, they told us everything was ok but maybe I should try out other vets nearby just to make sure. It's not as much that he is clumsy while flying, but more that he just does dumb stuff for no reason and gets himself hurt sometimes. Vets around me open in about 7 hours and I will make sure to take him to one, although he was doing much better before going to sleep. I will try to update tomorrow morning on how he is doing.

I have some vets nearby who treat birds only and that's where i usually take him, but they are closed right now. This is the type of dumb stuff he does about once a month, but usually he doesnt stay like this for so long and right now I'm starting to freak out a bit I guess. He still moves without making a fuss and has preened it a bit, but still...

Ty! Putting in animalese (the gibberish speak from animal crossing) has become a standard for me whenever I'm feeling a bit lazy when it comes to recording audio lol.

Mas ya, em geral, partilhar vídeos do youtube no reddit dá sempre para o torto porque o pessoal vai sempre para a knee jerk reaction de dar downvote a tudo o que possa ser remotamente considerado self promotion, mas não me posso queixar muito. Para ser sincero até há boas razões para essa reação automática existir. Quando possível, acabava sempre por dar upload dos vídeos diretamente para o reddit e meter nos comentários o meu canal para quem tive-se interesse, mas não tenho essa opção aqui no lemmy, pelo menos não por enquanto.

Honestamente, para que conteúdo do youtube seja mais aceite em geral no lemmy, acho mais importante a implementação de uma forma nativa de correr vídeos de youtube do que propriamente as comunidades para partilhar cenas. Tenho tido reações bastante mais afáveis ao meter diretamente aqui vídeos do youtube do que alguma vez tive no reddit. As comunidades em si hão de aparecer eventualmente, mas se não houver uma forma simples de ver o conteúdo a coisa não há de correr muito bem.

Maioritariamente faço vídeos ilustrados/animação sobre cenas do meu interesse no youtube. Grande parte até agr foram cenas sobre dungeons and dragons, mas publiquei à uns dias um sobre a padeira de ALjubarrota (só n meto aqui pq n quero tar a dar spam ou self promote, mas se fores ao meu perfil encontras rapido).

A ideia de fazer uma comunidade no reddit ou agr aqui no lemmy já me passou umas quantas vezes pela cabeça, mas n tenho gente suficiente interessada nas minhas cenas para compensar, pelo menos n atualmente. Por enquanto tenho q andar um pouco à deriva de onde as pessoas andam e meter as minhas cenas nas comunidades onde acho q poderão ser relevantes, e rezar q n seja downvoted lol.

Tbh não sei se realmente vou largar o reddit a 100% visto q já por si é lixado encontrar onde meter as cenas que faço, mas realmente quero tentar afastar-me ao máximo da coisa. Grande parte do meu tempo no r/Portugal era passado a dar lurk, mas gostava de ser um pouco mais ativo por cá.

Honestly, what amazes me the most about this is that Wii's Wi-Fi connection service was discontinued in 2014, so this was a full 7 years after that happened. The deeper I dig, the bigger the mystery becomes.

Had to block reddit for a bit and replace my shortcuts to reddit with lemmy, but now I find myself enjoying my time on lemmy a lot more than on reddit. I don't know if I will ever stop using reddit due to the amount of old information over that is still very useful and because it's where most of my viewers come from, but only time will tell I guess.
