  • Many years ago, I forget how many, a case of foot and mouth disease was traced to a salami sandwich discarded by a walker. The outbreak was confined to one farm with the only possible source being a transfer from someone on the footpath.

  • The benefits of privatisation. /s. Why train drivers for the future when the contract will run out soon. Short term planning with no thought of anything other than extracting the maximum out of the company all the while knowing that if it goes wrong, the tax payer has to pay to take it over or bail it out.
