  • I am the hairiest and bikeriest disney princess for sure. Depending on the time of year my morning welcome committee is ~80 blue jays, 60 grackles and blackbirds, a handful of chipmunks, some marmots, rabbits, and 5 or 6 'named' squirrels. The mammals have almost always been sociable and able to be fed by hand, especially the chipmunks, but the birds have always maintained their space. The newest set of babies is the first to let us hang out with them while they eat. And now this...

The thousands of pounds of peanuts, scratch feed, sunflowers, and suet, over the years have finally paid off.

Check out my profile for more animal pics if you are so inclined,

  • Sadly I called these folks in the spring and they were not very forthcoming with any details about pricing and were quite dismissive of someone who only wanted one pallet. Maybe their sales team had a bad day that day, but it turned me off very quickly.

  • In my opinion, stick to APC at work and cyberpower at home.

I have two cyberpowers at home right now. One of them is connected to my Nas and my primary desktop and the other is connected to my wife's desktop and our internet hardware.

We live in the middle of nowhere at the end of a power line that was installed just for us. So as you can imagine we don't get a lot of maintenance and the power here goes out multiple times every week.

  • This is infuriating for a very specific-to-me reason.

For the life of me I can not find anywhere that will just sell me 'plain red bricks'. But I keep seeing them everywhere like they are worthless trash.
