I'm looking for games with unique or experimental game design
  • How about Before Your Eyes? To my knowledge, it is the only game that uses blinking as a gameplay mechanic.

  • Looking for games that will make me cry
  • I know you probably didn't ask for emotional games, but I implore everyone to try Before Your Eyes. It is one of the most unique games I've played.

  • What are some examples of your tastes changing as you got older?
  • That's definitely a sing of growing up lol! I swear it is programmed into our genetics or something. My close friend group and I, all started drinking mineral water after we've hit 25. I have never liked it before I got older, now I am drinking it everyday.

  • Just a heads up, you are linking the wrong URL. It should be https://kbin.social/m/bestof instead of .com

  • kbin Federasyon Testi

Instance'sımızın kbin üzerinden düzgün federate edilip edilmediğini test etmeye çalışıyorum, lemmy üzerinden gören olursa lütfen bir comment atsın.

Lemmy's total users continues to surge to over 1.1 million, up from 740k yesterday!
  • Yes but kbin at the moment is more user friendly so if someone from reddit who is not tech savvy tries to migrate to fediverse, kbin would be a much more convincing option, especially since no one really realize there other instances of kbin much like lemmy and everybody just goes to kbin.social. So no choice paralysis about which instance to join which I reckon is the big part of the problem of transitioning from reddit.

  • How do you cook perfect rice?
  • Hey this might sound stupid but I hate rinsing the rice because I can never manage to drain the water without losing a significant amount of the rice in the process, so I just kind of half ass it with two rinses, that's probably where the problem lies. I should probably be okay with some of the water remaning in the pot instead of trying to drain it completely, thanks!

  • How do you cook perfect rice?
  • Yes please explain, desperately need to learn how to cook rice in 5 hours I'mma cook for Dad's kids. My rice always comes out sticky and mushy. Am I using too much water?

  • He's a keeper.
  • Man that third movie really came out of nowhere with it's plot about aging. Did not expect to feel depressed watching a kid's movie.

  • Looking for a Reddit alternative? Lemmy tell you, they currently kinda suck
  • My scroll wheel hated me until I figured out I could just hold the space bar for a sec to jump to the bottom lol. I would imagine it needs to be changed sooner than later before the number of comments in the threats increases.

  • What is the most useful website you know?
  • I am sure it's fairly known around here but at my work we regularly use https://thispersondoesnotexist.com/ to generate faces for social media mock-ups.

  • Starting to feel good over here
  • It's a client for lemmy on Android. You should definitely try it if you are on Android. I loved using Boost for reddit and Jerboa feels closest to it. I would daily drive it if not for kbin.

  • Starting to feel good over here
  • I mean aside from not being able to collapse comments, the webapp is not that bad. Although I confess Jerboa is much much better which is tempting me to switch to lemmy.

  • Starting to feel good over here
  • Don't use the reply button and just directly use the comment box at the bottom of the page. You can think it as not directly replying but as commenting in a thread because technically OP does not post but creates a thread, does that make sense?

  • Why do most reddit alternatives end up becoming shit shows?
  • Because those two instances are pulling in huge traffic now and unlike beehaw you don't need to be approved to sign in. So their influx of new users are making it very hard for beehaw team to moderate (not that I am supporting their decision but I understand the reasons behind it.)

  • BiaThemis BiaThemis @kbin.social

I'm just trying to make this a better place, one comment at a time.
