Supporting peace isn't "Russian propaganda", 78% of Ukranians want a negotiated end to the war. If you want to keep fighting Russia then send your own damn troops and quit forcing Ukranians to die over an inter-imperial pissing match that's killed almost their entire fighting age male population.

Democrats are the furthest thing from "moderate", they are on the extreme center. The idea that liberal centrism can't be extremist is damaging. Supporting endless proxy warfare in Ukraine, genocide in Gaza and austerity at home are all irrational, extremist positions that the Democrats (and most liberal parties in other countries) believe in.

Support to these workers striking - Mark Carney promised he wouldn't do austerity like Pollievre and hes blatantly breaking that promise with funding cuts for Canada Post. If there's a crisis at Canada Post its because they need to be funded, not have working hours cut in the name of austerity.

If you want something more Linux-like then the FLX1 is it. It runs very close to stock Debian Stable with Posh as the UI, but it runs some Android code underneath for device drivers, so its not a "pure" Linux system, but it's a very good experience and still not controlled by Google.

I wouldnt recommend Fairphone if you want to do Linux stuff with it, it's a perfect AOSP or LineageOS device though.
