What foods can last 3-4 days without refrigeration?
  • What I found to be quite interresting and working well are the solid fuel stoves from esbit. You should be able to bring them on a flight and one small tablet lasts long enough to boil enough water for some instant ramen, soup or a cup of instant coffee.

  • Lemmy faces the same expectations problems as every free/libre software
  • Its gonna take some time for the apps to become more polished, the network just got a good boost in users and if the project is able to maintain those users I'm decently sure the platform will also be maturing at an accelerated rate.

  • I love me some grassy trams
  • We have very similar trams here, they are quite neat when they travel in their regular 10 minute interval. But once they go into night mode e.g. every 30 minutes it makes them a lot less useful further outside of the city. But thats critique on a high level, they perform really well and in 95% of cases I don't have to check a timetable to catch one to work or uni.

  • My Reddit GDPR Request took 20 days, this is what it looks like
  • I'm considering to delete my account under GPDR, that would mean they'd have to also delete my conent right?

  • “Reddit cannot survive without its moderators. It cannot.” - The Verge
  • Or, I know this is crazy, don't piss them off when you already make their money?

  • I'm done with Red Hat (Enterprise Linux) | Jeff Geerling
  • I personally have been using Ubuntu LTS, Alpine and Debian for all my server and container needs so far. But I'm looking forward how this will play out at work where we exclusively use AlmaLinux, OpenShift and OKD for all our deployments and containers. We even migrated specific containers with 3rd party tools to AlmaLinux so we didn't have to deal with debian specific CVE's.

  • I haven't been on Reddit since the 11th... Anyone else?
  • I'm still occasionally browsing it as I still enjoy using Apollo, its really just that good of an app. But I'll be cutting ties on the 30th once the API key expires.
As others meantioned, I'll make sure to delete my accout with GPDR and pursue action should they bring my content back.
