I'm not sure why you think "being on the fence is an interesting position to take", I'm glad there are people out there who have the skills to look at the code and see if it's doing what people claim it is doing or not, I am not one of them. I just want a browser that doesn't treat me like a piggy bank and less ads. I don't know the developers reputation and simply asked for more knowledgeable people to chime in, sorry if that's a problem for you.
Mozilla says the addon has problems, the developer says it doesn't. Are there any 3rd parties that can weigh in on this?
It doesn't, it's a perception bias caused by a few different things like others here have mentioned, but also freshly grown hair tends to be thicker, then tapers off as it grows, so it SEEMS thicker.
To go along with all the people mentioning the need for a license for ham radio: there is a study app with literally all the questions that might be on the test and it's all multiple choice. Just keep answering the questions till you remember enough of em.
Oh God right in the nostalgia. I need to start playing Project 1999 again...
Maybe but I bet she'd kill it in the quantum mathematics part of the competition.
This story is all over the news, multiple shooters using fully automatic weapons in a suspected assassination? Yeah that'll draw some eyeballs.
Call me pisher but I'm not sure I'm on board with fighting terrorism with more terrorism.
The only part of your biased, self-serving spin on everything I said which I agree with is the part where you said you are not deserving to be a mod.
That conveniently ignores what the actual issue was, since if Beaver had replied to the request to discuss those actions with the other mods we wouldn't be having this discussion. Not consulting with other mods before making COMMUNITY decisions was, to my mind, the main reason for being demoded.
Well I'm not a mod and I didn't demod you, but from my opinion of how it played out A, you immediately jumped to Beavers defense and said you didn't have a problem banning people for downvoting, B, immediately tried to downplay them not responding to the mod request to discuss that action, C, based on how you're responding here sound completely unfit to be a mod which should require a certain level of maturity, and of course D the possibility that you're an alt.
I mean the fact that the 3 of you have a particularly similar aggressive nature and after leaving 1 post all came here to keep up the exact same kind of bitchiness is not helping your argument.
Beaver started banning people for downvoting posts. A fellow mod reached out to Beaver to say that had not been the policy and if they wanted that to be the policy going forward the mods would need to discuss it. Beaver then ignored the request to discuss the new policy that Beaver arbitrarily decided on. The issue here seems to be Beaver, period.
You're not coming off as a reasonable person here. Questions of how to handle vegan related issues is one thing. Questions of how to handle community rules and enforcement is another. I pointed out on a different post of yours that your post seemed to violate a community rule, if it's a question of interpretation of the rules fine, a decision needs to be made and enforced. You do not seem interested in having those discussions, making you unfit to act as a moderator.
I believe ravhall agrees with you, they were saying what IAmTheTot says doesn't make sense.
Well I'm sorry if that's how you interpret reality, honestly I don't care about "the message", I care about the goal of TRUMP NOT FUCKING UP THIS COUNTRY MORE THAN HE ALREADY HAS.
I mean unless you are intentionally being obtuse I feel like you know damn well what people mean when they say "A vote for X is a vote for Trump". It's not a coincidence that so many Republican allies and organizations are promoting and pumping up 3rd party candidates to run in various swing states and pull votes away from Harris, this isn't a new tactic and historically has absolutely changed elections.
This post seems like a violation of rule 2, unless you're making the argument that it's a post about the vegan sub therefore it's about veganism, but it seems like a lot of other posts that were deleted would be considered about veganism too.
