  • Me and my wife are both members of TST and we LOVE the work they do. The Tenets they promote are loving, self-respecting, and do justice towards an ideal world of Individualism, anti-authoritarianism, and critical thinking - i.e. everything that Christianity and modern conservatism in general are eager to suppress. We regularly donate to them, and we constantly purchase stuff through their store to help support them.

  • There's a plateauing effect that's been observed when health, happiness, and comfort are reached within a country. When your country doesn't have a high infant/child mortality rate, you don't need to have more than 2-3 kids. So the birthrate tends to go down.

Japan is sort of a whole different beast. There's some pretty good documentaries that discuss the issues when observed from certain fronts: the grind culture, lack of childcare, lack of gender equality.

There's a lot of cultural things that need to be fixed in Japan, and no one wants to change.

  • When has almost any country given a shot about "international laws" when there something that could benefit them? What court upholds these "international laws" that would hold China or Russia responsible for anyone?

That said, the Incheon FIR is internationally recognized as Korean Airspace, and the KADIZ was set up to support and defend that. Your claim that S.Korea is attempting to appropriate airspace doesn't make sense, especially when this is already an internationally recognized airspace by the US and other major global powers.

  • It's also fucked. Like, what are we supposed to do? This is the only form of protest that some of us have. I don't have the ability to get out and protest. I don't have the ability to be an activist, I have a family that I need to take care of.

I know that change comes from political discourse, and we've VERY CLEARLY seen that has worked towards the Republicans benefit (reg. redpilling, QAnon, etc.). It's the only way I know that I can fight back against that insanity.

Cultural change is slow, but it ultimately wins the war, and the best thing that I can do is be on the right slide of it. I understand that you win over more people by being nice, but my comments arent to "win" over the person I'm talking to....they are the "example", and my argument is primarily for the hundreds of people that will ultimately read the post.

  • Lmfao, he's running as a Democrat. He's going to get crucified by liberals.

John apparently didn't read the conservative memo - crooks, criminals, rapists, pedos, and murderers are supposed to run as a Republican. They love that sort of "quality" candidate - he may have actually had a shot over there.

  • I will switch to a lane knowing I can't pass all the time and speed up. I call it the Slingshot and it works about 95+% of the time. Essentially when a car in the left-most lane is traveling the speed of traffic, if you move to a different lane and speed up, they will instantly speed up to "prevent" you from passing (even if there wasn't space to pass). The great part about it is that that they always maintain the speed and you'll be able to break the traffic stalemate for that section.

Not sure if it's a psychological thing, but it fucking works and I love it.

  • I guarantee you, that every single streaming company knew that this was going to happen, and realized that the only way to have a good bargaining ship on the table was to have your own successful streaming service. The next step will be numerous streaming services aggregating together under a new umbrella service.

  • He sanitizes his post history. I've had several interactions with him to the point that I remember his name. Everything in my inbox that has his name says that content can't be found.

  • You need to go check out this game. It's like the No Man's Sky situation all over again but on a MUCH, WORSE scale. To put it into context, imagine Bethesda promised Starfield, and delivered Asteroids, but it only sometimes worked.

What Fntastic put out is borderline criminal for the price they asked you to pay.

  • I think the other issue is that while Austin is awesome, Texas is....not. With all of the controlling social politics that conservatives are pushing, most tech-based people want to get out while they can. They have money, it's easy for them to up and move, and they can get a job anywhere. Why the hell would they want to stay in Texas?
