Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Preview – We Played it and Didn't Like it
  • Its interesting to hear that you didnt find the mechanics satisfactory. I've always felt that Knight had the best iteration of both combat and predator mechanics (the ability to consistently freeflow onto enemies lying on the ground without dropping your combo is neat, and so is the fear multi-takedown and disruptor shenanigans). Knight's primary failing in my opinion is that it made all of these good gameplay upgrades.....and then made 75% of the game batmobile tank sections which were all shit.

  • why are grunts aligned with the brutes in H3 after the events in H2
  • Its a gameplay decision because fighting a horde of mostly jackals would get very dull after a while - grunts are simple to defeat and play a comedic role with their dialogue. Having grunts on the player side may have also caused confusion (from the developer's perspective; i personally think it wouldve been fine) which is something bungie wanted to avoid which is why elites have the ugly green phantoms in h3 (so they are not confused with the regular phantoms)

Lorewise i think its some grunts sided with the elites and some went along with the brutes. They basically went along with whoever was commanding them.

Youll note that the same thing happened to hunters between h2 and h3

  • What is the Israel thing going on?
  • Very comprehensive write up, but i think something a lot of answers miss out on is...well, who was there before the romans? The romans called the area Judaea....land of the Jews. Before the Romans the Seleucid Empire had to deal with several uprisings led by.....the Jews (the maccabean revolt). Its not enirely accurate id say to say the jews just materialised in the region in the 1950s...

  • Man accused of raping, waterboarding girlfriend in her university dorm room for days until she escaped
  • Yeah and we shouldn't wear seatbelts because we shouldn't be held accountable for what some other drunken idiot does on the road

Yeah, maybe you're right, but you need to accept the reality that you can't control the actions of others and that you should still take precautionary measures to protect yourself

  • Redditors brigading against Lemmy
  • Couldn't.

If you COULD care less, then you still care to some degree because there is a level of caring you COULD go down to.

If you COULDN'T care less, then you are literally already at the lowest level of caring and could not possibly go lower.
