We’re delighted to announce that the Xbox Games Showcase will be livestreamed on June 11. Immediately after the Showcase, we’ll be airing Starfield Direct, a deep-dive into Bethesda Game Studios’ highly anticipated sci-fi RPG.
I agree as well. With Star Wars Outlaws, I was disappointed with how vague the trailer was regarding gameplay... but looks like they're revealing gameplay tomorrow, so looking forward to that!
It's crazy how they came out ahead of this bragging about how all of their trailers would be either gameplay or in-game, and it's all just cinematic shit anyways.
Wohoo! Direct thread is here! Let the hype begin! Even as PS user, I love Bethesda games. Have been hearing about Avowed a lot lately. I can always play these games on PC/laptop.
Hoping for an announcement of Psychonauts 3. Also it would be cool to see some kind of confirmation of Halo project Tatanka, although I think that's unlikely.
Also I'm guessing there will probably be a surprise Game Pass shadow drop, so that will be cool.
Yeah their own major titles lacking a release date or year isn't a good look. Also the avowed game looks super dated graphically. Poor man's skyrim lol
This is a much better Xbox event! They have in game or in engine footage to show for a lot of games being shown. No release dates for a lot of them is a bummer but there’s an improvement. Phantom liberty looked rad! I don’t have a good gaming laptop, wish had a pc for starfield
Glad to see there's so many interesting games coming to Game Pass. The Capcom game especially looks cool. Starfield looks great. A little disappointed there weren't any new hype-worthy game announcements though. But overall I'm feeling good about the future of Game Pass. (Even though most stuff they showed isn't coming out until 2024.)
I'm hopeful Ninja Theory maintained, if not upped, the quality with Hellblade II. What an incredible experience the first game was. It was so impactful.
Rumors have it that Avowed will show up in the Xbox conference. I'm really excited to finally see some gameplay for it after a looong time of radio silence.
Whew, Avowed's been announced three years ago, huh. I honestly forgot about the game. I could see them showign some new gameplay. 👀I've heard of other leaked stuff (in spoilers):

Persona 3 Re-Loaded, similar to how Xbox had marketing exclusivity with the 5 and 3 ports on multi-plat
I heard rumours Fable would also show up, surprising many considering the rumoured troubled development.
This is where MS has a chance to really make a splash and show what all of the developers they have been acquiring are working on. I hope it's successful, my Xbox has turned into a Rock Band 4 machine.
I used to be optimistic for Microsoft since Phil Spencer got the Game Pass ball rolling, but I'm doubtful we'll see a lot of concrete games. Especially with his recent speech that "even with games we won't sell more Xboxes than PlayStations" (not that I care about the "console war", but that's definitely not a confident man speaking). If it's a splash, it would've been bigger if the CMA and the FTC didn't start stopping Microsoft from acquiring Activision-Blizzard-King.
I'm still rooting for them, though! Sony got some banger games, Nintendo's "set for the year" with TOTK and their other smaller games, now it's Xbox' turn to swing.

I don't think that speaks to confidence in general, I think it speaks to accepting the reality of where they are with regards to hardware sales.
I am hoping this will be a good showcase for them. Regardless, I appreciate that they are allegedly taking the "no CGI trailers" approach.
Everwild seems like a realistic thing to hope for that would be exciting. I assume we'll be seeing Forza. Silksong seems like it'd be here if anywhere during this not-E3, but not getting my hopes up for that. Really have zero interest in Starfield, so I hope they don't spend too much of the time focused on that.
I'm really looked forward to Hellbade II, even though I never finished the original one (was NOT a fan of the combat bits, it felt like someone pausing a movie and refusing to unpause it until I did button mashing sequence). The atmosphere/vibes of the walking parts are so cool though.
Pretty disappointed overall. Couple of the smaller things looked cool. Don't feel like I even had very high hopes, but everything either was uninteresting to me or was cinematics only with no hint of how the game plays.
