Endlessly.
- Spend all my time building a new house I adore with the perfect clutter in the perfect spots.
- Make a sim or two I mostly like but I'm really in it for the building.
- Move em in and play for a few days.
- Go "Hmm I got an idea for a new build"
- Rinse & Repeat for many years lol
I do that all the time, eventually I get bored and I start buying skill furniture put there is no space for it in the house so I just put it outside and everything looks like a mess, it is a hobby I have grown out of.
