Bug? - When a user delete a parent comment, the entire reply thread is hidden

I recently noticed this. In the OG Lemmy web client, if someone replies to a comment that was deleted, that reply will show.

Voyager will nuke everything below a deleted comment. The entire thread is hidden from the user.

Is this a bug or something that simply hasn’t been implemented yet?
