How do I "get ready" for this? Is there a form to fill out or class I should take? Do I need to tell my parents? WHAT DO I DO?!
- They mean prepare your wallet or to wait an eternity. They are graphene based.
  
  Or you could just use LiFePO4 batteries. It's significantly harder to set them on fire than other lithium ion types. They are affordable and readily available.

UL2271 certification is what I need to see.
I read "Graphene-powered 18650" and thought this is never happening but I looked up the voltex site and you can pre-order them if you're a business. So maybe they are actually coming to market. I've never heard of these cells before so I really want to see a data sheet. There site:

It's a shame the sensationalist media and cheap Chinese ebikes are giving a bad name to a whole industry. No mention of electric cars either. what happens if i shoot my Tesla right in the battery? Don't buy the absolute cheapest bike on the market, charge your stuff how you're supposed to, and respect the temperature ranges of the battery. You'll probably be fine.
How much more expensive is this going to make e-bikes?
