Batoto extension isn't working anymore 😭 while mangadex extension is fine
Someone will surely find a workaround to this. Half my library on tachiyomi is from mangadex lol
Edit: I did find a workaround, an unofficial repository for mangadex and bato extensions. As of the moment bato extension seems to be broken, but hopefully a patch will be released soon. The developer of the extension still plans to maintain it afaik
77 0 Reply30% of my mangas are located on mangadex and the others are located on different sources. That's good because my migration process to other sources is not really tedious. That's why diversification of different sources are important nowadays
21 0 ReplyAbout one-third my library from batoto 😭
but hopefully a patch will be released soon.
I really hope for this

Even though they are closed and conversation has been locked links to GitHub issues for those interested : Issue #19553 and Issue #19554

Yes, what a legitimate good faith takedown request for code in a repository that this company didn't own the copyright to.
The copyright system is an absolute joke.
22 0 ReplyWow, I was wondering why those were 404ing, saw the repo was deleted and a new one was just created, and saw this post from 15mins ago:

TLDR: they purging all extensions.
3 0 ReplyFuck this, is there any alternative we could use? Anyone planning to support a fork?
2 0 ReplyAnd i guess their sub. Went there to try and find any info and the top mod just nuked it all. Even the release support post

27 0 ReplyThanks, still no luck.
I guess batoto has made changes
EDIT :
I also found this on another unoffical repo
23 0 ReplySounds like the app will have to be forked?

Heads up, as of last night you can't search MangaDex via the old extension. Manga you already have favorited are still updated, but you can't find new ones to favorite
23 0 ReplyStill working as of yet but havent updated (thanks to the post).

https://github.com/KotatsuApp/Kotatsu here's actively maintained fork
15 0 ReplyThey purged the entire extension list, the limpdick cowards. Time to jump ship, so long and thanks for all the fish!
10 0 ReplyHmm might switch to the Neko fork then, since I don't think that relies on extensions. Not sure what to do about Bato though
8 0 ReplyI can confirm that Neko still works flawlessly for me. I only use Mangadex so have never really been interested in the wider Tachiyomi space.
