Something like localsend but without needing to be on the same network?

Local send is great, but usually my phone is just on data, so id rather not have to turn it on to send files. running a custom rom so no google local share or whatever. thanks :)

OnionShare is the most secure option that "just works" imho
I use PairDrop allot for sending peer to peer files/text to other PC's on other networks. FOSS and can be self hosted ;)
- I use this app on my Pixel 6 running GrapheneOS, or you can install the website as PWA

- eh a lot of effort for that one. make a send, share the send, open it, then download. defiantly has a use, so thanks for bringing it up, just not for my purposes rn :)

Magic Wormwole if you want to send while both computers are running.

Syncthing if you want to continously sync files on both machines.
