Shoutout to my one friend that had no idea you were supposed to run from Asylum Demon and actually did beat it with the broken short sword
- Oh, I did that too! I did realise part way through that I was meant to flee, but by that point, I'd already spent so much time attacking it that I had committed to my quest.

You say that but the last fromsoft game had literally the first boss be one you are supposed to die to

- I'm drawing a blank. Wasn't the first AC6 boss that helicopter?
  
  They forgot about AC6 and were thinking of the Grafted Scion outside the Chapel of Anticipation in Elden Ring.
