Last week, COP 28 came to a close, with negotiations running over (as has become customary in the last decade).

But with different countries pushing back on various proposals, the language of the agreement treated by many nations as a 'rough suggestion' and many of the world's oil producers increasing rather than decreasing their oil output, what hope do we have?

The answer? A little - but it requires everyone to work together.
