Baldur’s Gate 3 player blames Scratch for “embarrassing” Honour Mode loss - Dexerto

A BG3 player disappointingly failed their Honour Mode run thanks to Scratch deciding to go fetch at the worst possible moment.

I usually leave Scratch safe at camp. I am a Wizard, and I conjure elementals for the dangerous adventuring I do.
- Right? He and the owlbear cub stay safely at camp, and I come back splattered with the blood and whatever bits I hacked off of the enemies I fought.

  Wait. You can get the owlbear cub to stay with you?
My dog reacts when Scratch appears onscreen. (Sometimes when my druid is a bear, too.)

I try not to use Scratch too much as a result. Also I don't like the yelp of a hurt dog.
I... Had no idea scratch could join your party lol. I thought he just stayed at camp.
- He will sniff out buried treasure for you.
I prefer Shovel. Foul mouthed little shit.
- Shovel likes to do wicked stuff.
You have to have his ball in your inventory and you'll get an option to summon him. He can find buried treasure but is weak in a fight.
