- Welcome Back, Kotter's theme is terrific. And it's so easy to get stuck in your head... "Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back."

  Yup! and although Alan is a fantastic man, for whatever reason he's not particularly proud of his son Robin, apparently Robin has been troublesome or didn't live up to his full potential or to his father's expectations or something.
  And anyway that smoldering super hot song that Robin had a few years ago was written by Bruno Mars so it wasn't really even Robin's song. So when I wonder why his dad is not particularly proud of him, I can only speculate that he hasn't been much of a success.

- I listed that one too. Quincy Jones wrote it. It's called "Streetbeater." It was so popular that he released the long version commercially.
